4th Week of the 2nd Six Weeks!

This six weeks is a short one only consisting of 5 weeks, which means we only have two more to go! This week will be a very hectic one, so make sure the time we do have in class is very productive.

I am hoping to introduce simple interest this week, which in my opinion is a very simple and straight forward lesson. I will introduce new vocabulary and show you how to solve it using a formula found on your STAAR reference materials.

Week of October 3-7, 2016

2nd Six Weeks!!!

Let's make this brand new six weeks even better than the last! We have gotten to know each other better, and you know what we expect of you, so make the necessary adjustments!

This week we will be using proportions to convert measurements! Once we all feel comfortable with converting between metric and customary systems, we will move on to percent increase and decrease.

REMINDERS:

Wednesday: Fall Pictures and Report Card Night @ PPP from 4-6 PM
Thursday: HESTEC trip to UTRGV arrive before 8AM at AC2E campus so that we may leave promptly. If you are from the La Grulla, Alto Bonito, or surrounding areas your parents may drop you off at the Stripes by 7:45AM. I will be there waiting for you outside, if I am not there yet (if you show up extra early), your parents need to wait until you see me.
