Week of February 27- March 3, 2017

2nd Week of the 5th Six Weeks!

This week we will continue learning about the area of composite figures. Composite figures are figures made out of simpler shapes. Your job is to break them down into familiar shapes and find the area of each. Then, you add up all the areas to find the composite figures total area.

Use common formulas for squares, circles, triangles, trapezoids, parallelograms, and rectangles.

We will be working on task cards, stations, and individual worksheets next week!
